As the sun started to fall and I found a spot right before I took this a wedding photographer thought he owned the park and tried kicking me out of this spot that I had been waiting to capture for two hours. I am glad I held my ground to get this 3 shot pano as the sun is crossing the horizon. The house to the right is the Whalehead Club. The show of Victorian wealth. Next to that on the left is the Currituck Lighthouse. All this nested in the Currituck Park.

While out shooting the Milky Way at Oak Island, NC the clouds came and found myself moving under the hurricane crippled pier.

The clouds opened up for only a couple minutes to be able to get this shot off while I found this driftwood and cool patterns in the sand.

Someone just had to stop and get a photo of this. Taken at Jennette's Pier in Nags Head - Outer Banks (NC) during sunrise.
