Location
Fellowship Flower Garden in Youngstown Ohio. It's known for it's beautiful rose garden. Many couples have thier pictures taken there. As well as wedding ceremonies.Time
It was almost high noon.Lighting
I love shooting without a flash. Natural lighting can be challenging but while worth it. Nothing can compare to it.Equipment
This was taken with a EOS 60D, f5.6 1/600, ISO 100, lens was a standard kit lens 18-55mm. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
My love for butterflies and what they represent. They are considered to be a miracle of transformation and resurrection. And to be able to bring that to life in a photo is an amazing thing.Editing

My first pick is my Canon 85mm 1.2 it takes amazing pictures. I used it for much more then portrait shots. Then a telephoto zoom lens. I have a Canon 70-300mm that I use to capture wildlife like ducks and geese. A nifty 50mm and last but not least a 18-55mm .Feedback
Patience and timely is key to capturing butterflies and insects.A little research goes a long way.Like knowing the plants/blossoms that best attracts them is helpful. Finding the right location is crucia.I look for spots that are quiet and don't have a lot of traffic. This is so they are not easily scared away. Sometimes you only get one chance to get that perfect shot.
