Behind The Lens

Location

This Photo was taken at the Portuguese Oceanarium!

Time

It was 4 pm but at a very dark Room.

Lighting

This was almost a dark room and i had to use ISO 10000 to get this photo.

Equipment

Canon 6D with a Canon 17-40 L f4. The câmera was handheld. No flash.

Inspiration

The light im the aquarium iluminating the jelly Fish were awsome . Only the jelly fish were visible. The background was completly dark.

Editing

Just some ajudstments in Adobe Lightroom. Noise, sharpening and saturation.

In my camera bag

My Canon 6d, Canon 135 mm f2, Canon 17-40 f4, Canon 70-200 f2.8, Tokina 16-28 f2.8, Canon 50 f1.8 and a Sigma 105 f2.8. ND filter 10 stops and a Polariser filter. A Manfrotto tripod.For remote, i use a TriggerTrap cablle conected to My cell Phone .

Feedback

I Just can advice to Go to the Oceanarium. I high ISO is needed and a steady hand. Try to support your Hand at a wall. And be persistent. I had the wait for the jelly Fish to come to the Spotlight to get a good light.
