Location
This is the view from my kitchen. It was taken midsummer, and the clarity of the air was incredible. I had only been living here for a few months so was still totally in love with the view. As I'm untrained, I have to point and shoot and I can't claim any expertise.Time
This was midday. Obviously at full tide.Lighting
Point and shoot means I don't get to choose the light - I was cooking and decided to quickly take a shot.Equipment
I used a Canon PowerShot A4000 IS, the settings were as follows (copied from under the photo) settings Aperture 40/10?ISO 125?Shutter 1/1000?Focal Length 16933/1000Inspiration
I glanced up and thought it would be a nice picture.Editing
I don't know how.In my camera bag
At that stage, all I had was the camera. Now I have a Nikon 3400, in a bag. No other lenses.Feedback
New Zealand light is particularly bright in summer. I live in this tiny fishing village and there is no pollution to speak of. I highly recommend getting away from the populated areas and taking photos of anything and everything. When you get back to the city you can compare and see the difference.
