This poor animal was trying so hard to be allowed up on the commercial buoy to get to safety, but the dominant animal would not allow him access, so when he finally admitted defeat and began to swim away, his one flipper came out of the water. It reminded me of what humans do with their middle finger when they are mad, hence the name of the image. I captured this image near Juneau, Alaska in a small fishing boat.
