As I've stated in other photos of this scene, when we visited Canyonlands NP in 2001 I discovered this scene and this Pinon-Juniper bush overlooking Holeman Spring Canyon, but it was late in the day and I was shooting into the sun. I wa determined to get the shot at a time of day when the sunlight caused less problem. I was lucky to find the same spot again in 2007, and with lighting which was more conducive to the overall scene, this was the result.
