Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the Dole plantation in Hawaii. I was there on a marching band trip to perform on the USS Arizona.

Time

Early afternoon.

Lighting

The cloudless sky of Hawaii provided beautiful natural light for this shot.

Equipment

This was shot in a Canon Rebel T3

Inspiration

I wanted to capture the texture of nature. The flora and fauna of the islands were captivating and intricate.

Editing

I sharpened the image a bit and intensified the green just a tad to catch the eye.

My kit lense and a longer lense for distance shots.
