Location
I took this photograph on Fort Myers Beach. Fun fact, the model in the shot is actually my little sister.Time
ONe of my favorite images and it was taken around the afternoon on the beach and it was pretty windy that day.Lighting
Natural lighting is used here.Equipment
Canon EOS 40DInspiration
I was inspired by the wind. I know that sounds odd, but it was pretty breezy that day and I wanted to get a relaxed look of the model looking towards the ocean, just as the wind was blowing past her and through her hair.Editing
There wasn't too much to do in post. Just a little adjusted in making the color of her bathing suit pop a bit more and some skin smoothing techniques. In my camera bag
I mainly use my Canon 40D and that's all. No tripod or even extra lens. I move around alot as I shoot and don't want to be held down too much.Feedback
Weather can be unpredictable, but it can challenge you to think on your toes and look out for those moments that others may over look. So when shooting in the environment, be prepared and when you see a moment, take it. Embrace the unexpected, cause it can make you better.
