This beautiful bull frog was posing for me at Cantigny Gardens in the suburbs of Chicago. There is a small pond by the idea garden and the frogs seem to like it.Time
I strolled around the gardens in the late afternoon around 5 pm in the summer heat and looked for a shady place by the water.Lighting
The afternoon sun warmed and illuminated the beautiful green skin and made the eyes almost glistening golden. Loved the deep hues of flowers in the back creating this unique background of red and blue. And the calmness of the water was perfect for reflectionEquipment

Most of the time I don't carry my bag with me. I love to take images of birds and wildlife and prefer to explore Nature on a light note. Mostly I have my telescope lens (200-500 mm) attached to my camera, a small brush to clean the lens and I am outdoors walking in Nature and see what I can "catch".Feedback
Always appreciate your surroundings. If you are aware of what our planet has to offer, you don't have to travel far or long. Sit down and wait what may approach you and be kind and patient. This is my best way so far to capture images out in Nature
