Location
I am a self-taught, self motivated photographer, who loves to travel and is in love with the Himalayas and sunsets. This Picture was taken near Bir, Himachal Pradesh in India in December 2015.Time
I can still remember that day in vivid memory, as I remember driving my 4x4 around in the mountains, the time must have been somewhere between 5:15-5:20 PM in the evening. As I noticed the sky ad clouds in a beautiful formation, I stopped the car beside the road, and ran with my camera in my hand to a good high spot to capture this shot.Lighting
Nothing as such, and I love to shoot my shots in available light.Equipment
I used my Sony Alpha 77 II DSLR, coupled with 18-135mm lens.Inspiration
I am a lover of sunsets, Though I haven't clicked any sunsets lately as a result of involvement in other activities, but would love to bounce back.Editing
Yes, I used Adobe Lightroom CS4 to retouch the picture a bit.In my camera bag
My bag is a bit of a mess, it carries my A77 II DSLR, 18-135mm lens, 30mm f/2.8, Tamron 70-300mm (a shame Sony hasn't launched their 70-300mm G (A-mount) lens in India yet, and i have to bear with this inconsistent Tamron. (No hard feelings for Tamron here, but it is the truth).Feedback
Just shoot to your hearts content and never shoot thinking what people would like, what matters is what you like.
