I was jogging across the Lake Natoma Bridge in Folsom CA. Luckily, I had my camera backpack with me.Time
It was late afternoon, and the sun was beginning to set.Lighting
The sun was beginning to set in a brilliant yellow backdrop. The clouds diffused the sun into a golden glow.Equipment
I had a Nikon D3100 in my backpack, using a Tamron 18-200mm lens hand heldInspiration
Looking down at the water ftrom the bridge, the water was perfectly calm, and the ripples in the water created an amazing trail refleced by the suns' glow.Editing
The only post processing for this image was cropping the photo to get the feeling of motionIn my camera bag
I now have a Nikon D780 with a Nikkor 28-300mm lensFeedback
My only advice for anyone trying to capture a similar shot? Always carry your camera with you!!! You never know what Mother Nature will give you...
