The photo was taken from the Eureka Skydeck in Melbourne, Australia.

Time

This photo was taken last November at around midday.

Lighting

This is a candid shot. I enjoyed a lot the shades and reflections on the glasses. The sun was high and the play of lights amazing!

Equipment

I took this picture with a Sony alpha 230; no other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

It was a pretty strange period of my life. Full of important changes, meetings and inner storms. That morning I was enjoying the view over the city I call "home" and had the feeling that those plays of light, colors and hazed shades reflected pretty much my mood and emotions. This picture means a lot to me.

Editing

I just converted it in black and white.

In my camera bag

Apart from my cameras? Usually tons of dried fruit, water, a sketchbook, my passport and other random stuff of dobious value!

Feedback

My first advice is always: follow your instinct. Especially if you go for street photography, don't look for "perfection", follow your gut. Enjoy the spaces around you, try out new perspectives, play with lights, shapes, reflections, shades...
