Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the Oregon coast Hacetahead light house, on hwy 101 between Florence and NewPort Oregon

Time

It was around 6 or 7 pm in the summer of 2015

Lighting

Lighting is a very good tool for photography but sometimes you can over do it so be careful how you use it. Lightning works great during sunsets, they very good also with clouds they give a very big sense of emotion.

Equipment

I use my Nikkon D3300 with lens 300mm

Inspiration

I'm in love with nature and I enjoy sunsets I want to show people how I see the world through my eyes, and want to make people feel the essence with just a photograph.

Editing

I did some processing using Adobe Photoshop program. I was trying to give a sense of day and night at the same time.

In my camera bag

I usually carry my macro 85mm, my 300mm and 120mm lenses, my tripod My Nikon D 7100 and my back up camara Nikon D3300 , back up batteries and charger that connects to my car, I carrie my Ipad pro to download my pictures and review them in a bigger screen, and cleaning supplies.

Feedback

My advice is to love and be passionate about what you do. Photography is not for everyone you have to have a passion for it, study the subject or scenery of what you have in mind for your photo, and complete the task about the subject, try to communicate what you are thinking through a photo so that others can see it and feel it. Always study the lighting and always think that practice will make you a better photographer, the key to get a good picture is to take lots of them, feel the image you want to achieve
