I took a few shots before the sun came through the tree and got some interesting effects on the foreground and sky to play with different settings. Then waited for the sun to come through the tree.Equipment

I pass thus way eveyday on my way to work. Our sunrises in Arizona can be quite spectacular I stopped to take it in...and...I ended being late for work. But it was worth it!Editing
I added an HDR filter at about 30%In my camera bag
I now shoot with a canon 6d. The kit lens 24-105mm, just bought the 70-200mm f/2.8 ii, my nifty 50mm, 180mm macroFeedback
Patience...Enjoy the scenery while you wait. Try different settings to see what you get. Sometimes the unexpected brings the most satisfaction.
