Behind The Lens

Location

The photograph was taken at the Werribee Zoo, Victoria, Australia.

Time

Time of the day was about 10:00am. The animals are most active during the morning, the first hour early in the morning results in some magical photos shots.

Lighting

Natural sunlight - the best lighting of all.

Equipment

The equipment l normally use; Canon 5DS, Sigma 150 - 500 Lens, Monopod.

Inspiration

l love photographing wildlife. Capturing those incredible moments when wildlife makes us gasp with wonder, awe and fear or brings us to tears with its beauty & tenderness.

Editing

No post work processing was done on this photo. i have just recently after much consideration decided to purchase & use Lightroom.

In my camera bag

l carry a range of lenses - Canon 50mm, Canon 28 -135mm, Canon 70 -200mm, Canon100mm Macro, Canon 70 - 300mm, Sigma 150 - 500mm & Canon 5DS.

Feedback

When photographing Wildlife - Early mornings photo shoots result in animals being active, having awoken to a new day & new smells. Most of all, be patience & be ready to capture that moment.
