Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at the home of the breeder.
Time
I took this photo around 11:00 am.
Lighting
I was using a combination of window light and a Canon 600 EX-RT flash.
Equipment
My main camera is a Canon 5D Mark III which I used on this shoot as well as 24-70mm f2.8 II and a Canon speedlite 600 EX-RT
Inspiration
Pure puppy love inspired this shot. I was doing a newborn puppy session as I would a newborn baby session.
Editing
Post processing was a combination of Lightroom and Photoshop. My go to editing usually includes Jessica Drossin actions or textures.
In my camera bag
5D Mark III, Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS II, Canon 50mm 1.4, Canon 85 1.2L II, Sigma 35mm 1.4, Canon 24-70 2.8 ii
Feedback
My only advice would be get them while they are sleepy and before they can move around so much. There were 16 puppies at this shoot, and this was one of my favorite images from the day.
