Location
This photo was taken at North Stradbroke. I was down at the beach looking at the Brisbane skyline and the sun started to set.Time
After a big day my family and I went down to the beach to relax and watch the dolphins at sunset. The sky soon turned to orange and i got this shot just before it went dark.Lighting
I wanted the light to be the main focus of the image not the beach so I turned my shutter speed down to let more light in.Equipment
I took this photo with my canon 750d and a 55-250mm lens. I would have used my tripod but i forgot to bring it along.Inspiration
We had been a North Stradbroke for a few days now and i had taken a lot of sunset photos. To try something different i took this shot taking inspiration from many photographers that have posted motion blur's like this on Instagram and Facebook.Editing
No.In my camera bag
In my bag I normally carry at canon 50mm, 18-55mm and a 55-250mm. I also have a tripod and a spare battery. Of course i have my camera which is a canon 750d.Feedback
The best light for a photo like this is sunset just before it goes down. The trouble with this though is that city lights start coming on around this time so it is hard to get a good shot without having a streak of light from one of the buildings. Just find a good spot where there is not many buildings in the background and you will be good from there.
