I took this photo two summers ago in the park not far away from people's eyes at all and the funny story of this photo is that people were stopping by to look and everybody was curios what is in the back of the mirror, is the model nude or not. I had a really good time doing the shooting. I really enjoy to take photos outsite and use the natural light and take advantage of nature and everything that is around.Time
It was about 5 or 6 pm when I took this photo on pleasant week day when the sun was up but not to shinny at that time.Lighting
As a continue of the above question I found a green grass field that was shadowed by the trees where the light was perfect. That is all I need it. No anything else, just the natural light.Equipment
I used my Nikon D5100 DSLR with 18-105 VR lens and that was it. I think is the inspired photographer that does the photo not the expensive equipment. Give a talented photographer a cheap camera and he will create something stunning and give anybody a 5000 $ camera and nothing will come out of it.Inspiration
Everytime I am shooting somebody I am thinking to add something new to thoes new becoming photos. So for this photo I was at home and stopped by a mirror and I said: "Hey, how about use this for my new shooting and do some relfexions". The rest was at spot when I played with it and see what strange things we can do with it. Also what could better be a reflexion than a nice body. After all this all we needed was a simple place where is nothing around. So the grass place was perfect.Editing
Yes but not to much. I used Lightroom a little bit for contrast. Also to make the photo a little bit dark and that's it. I shoot it in black and white because when I take a photo I already have the image in my head of what is going to be. I think you have to have a lot of imagination as a photographer. In my camera bag
Nothing to fancy. I have a friend that plays guitar for 20 years and it does it on a 100$ guitar. Also look at Willie Nelson singing that broken guitar he has for decades that they call "The Trigger". As I said earlier is not the equipment that is most important si who is using it. So in my shoulder bag I have my DSLR camera, a Nikon D5100 that I have it from 2012, my Sigma flash, batteries, my USB cable, a cleaning kit and the chargers.Feedback
I want to mention a maybe interesting, inspiring story that is my story. When I started doing photography 11 years ago it first came the passion and then the cameras. The interesting part of the story is that I was so into photography but I had no posibillity at that time to buy a camera so I took photos with my brother's borrowed camera which was a small Minolta. Than years later when I was starting to do model shootings I was also borrowing two DSLR cameras, one from a good friend and the other from my cousin which is also a photographer, one at a time. It took some time till I made money from photography and bought my own camera. In conclusion I want to inspire other passionate poeple and say that if you love doing something don't give up and reach out and grab it. Don't let possibillities or money destroy your dreams. Listen to your inner voice and go for it. First it's the passion and then the equipment and not viceversa. First you want to play the guitar and then you buy the instrument, you know?
