Thank you very much! I had a look at some of your pictures and let me return the compliment as your pictures are quite beautiful, love the shot of the horses in the water, just gorgeous.

Location
This picture was taken at the ESPN Sports facilities in Orlando Florida during an exterior pre-competition practice session.Time
I was covering 6 teams of the Flyers All Stars gym throughout the Worlds Cheerleading competition. This picture was taken during Knockouts practice run past 2pm on the second day of five in total. Day two is usually a very intense day because competitions start on day 3, so teams are giving access to the ESPN fields to practice. You can feel the level of energy, nervousness and anxiety rise as each half day goes by, and athletes are pushed harder and harder to get their routine perfectly executed.Lighting
This picture was taken past 2pm with a strong and bright sun regardless of the presence of clouds. Of course the challenge here was to keep the sun as much as possible in my back regardless of where athletes and teams were positioned on the field, so I was constantly running around to position myself correctly, a real photographers marathon!! Sometimes I found myself literally facing the sun and so shots up in the air became almost impossible. Of course, cloudy skies increased whites and with the darker green grass I had to continuously adjust parameters.Equipment
I used my pony camera the Canon EOS 50D because my main camera a 5D Mark 2 was mounted with a 24-70 for wider shots. The lens used was the EF 70-200 f2.8 IS II USMInspiration
Capturing the stunt flyer can create an amazing picture. Its a challenge get a "good" and somewhat closeup picture of one flyer because when you miss one shot of one athlete you still have to do the other athletes and there are no second chances here, especially during a competition. So its a risk, team vs closeup athlete picture..... Plus the challenge is not only due to the required shutter speed but the proper zone of focussing, focus the right spot is of the essence. So I used in this picture center spot focus along with center spot metering function. My inspiration of this picture is a mix of photography techniques, using all your camera can give you and the athlete who in this team demonstrates a lot of energy and skills.Editing
Using PS, I removed field spot lights that were in the back and right side of the athlete, not a practice I often do mainly because I'm not an advance user of PS, but in this picture the spot lights were pulling my attention off of the athlete, and in my mind was ruining the picture. Some adjustments in the basic part of the development module of LR, but nothing major, mostly shadows and highlights. I was surprised this picture came out so good given I used my older 50D body!In my camera bag
All Canon products EOS 5D Mark 2, EOS 50D, EF 24-105 f4 IS USM, EF 24-70 f2.8L II (rental lens for competitions) EF 70-200 f2.8 IS II USM, EF 50mm 1.8 II, Flash 580 EXII Speedlight, Colour Checker passport, Lots of memory cards!!!Feedback
Know each piece of equipment you own very well. Understand how each body and lens performs best and were they start to fall off. Each body performs differently, so if your set up like I am, with two different bodies of cameras, you need to switch how you take pictures with each switch of camera. The rest is tied to your knowledge of photography, focus, aperture, speed, iso etc etc....
