Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a park somewhere in Quezon City, Philippines. I was attending a Shoot For A Cause event.

Time

This was one of my favorite photo because the model is not actually my model for that day. She was my friend and she's posing for another photographer. And during her break and got the opportunity. I asked her to give me one pose for the reason that I like her clothes. I love something vintage. It was taken last May 11, 2015 at 2:15 in the afternoon.

Lighting

About its lighting, I just used the natural light coming from the sun.

Equipment

This image was shot using my very first Canon DSLR, Canon 1000D with 18-55mm lenses only. I did not used any tripods, flash and etc.

Inspiration

Well actually it was an accident to take this shot. I was in a Shoot For A Cause event and we have our line up of models. And while walking with my fellow photographers to look for a specific place as our background. I saw somebody not far away from us doing a photo shoot too. Out of curiosity I walk towards them and I saw that the model is one of my good friend. And because there concept is beautiful and her outfit is truly amazing it really inspires me so I asked her to give me a pose while she's on her break.

Editing

With this image, I did not used too much post-processing here. I just correct its white balance on Photoshop.

In my camera bag

The equipment normally on my bag is my Canon 60D body with 18-55mm kit lens and with a battery grip attached to it. A Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens, a Yongnuo YN-568EX II Speedlite and my baby Mac Book Pro.

Feedback

I have only one simple advice to say, if you think the subject is perfect don't hesitate to do something to make it much perfect.
