Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Leura Cascades in the blue mountains new australia

Time

I took this shot at about 11am just after heavy rain the cascades was one of my favorite places it was only 5 minutes drive from my house and I went there often. Unfortunately I ave moved interstate and will probably never go there again.

Lighting

It was a very overcast day and as you can see a good canopy of trees helps as well.

Equipment

Nikon d3200 with 18-55mm lens, a pro 1000 ND filter, shutter speed around 3 sec, and f18 I think it was a long time ago.

Inspiration

I just love long exposures of water especially water falls.

Editing

Yes it's a five or 6 stack with slight adjustments in exposure, colour, and debase.

In my camera bag

Camera tripod, lenses 18 - 55mm, 35mm prime, and 18-200mm, ND and polarizing filters.

Feedback

Low f stop between 12 and 22 for depth of field, slow shutter speed from 1 sec up to whatever you like depends on any movement around the subject always have ND and polarizing filters and see what out of the two gives the best result
