The first day of our family vacation to the Grand Canyon it was foggy so you couldn't see the colors of the canyon quite so well. As we were walking around headed back to the car for the night the sun was coming down and casting amazing shadows over all of the rocks. The canyon itself looks huge, but it looks even more vast and awe inspiring when you see it put to scale. Across the way on the left of the picture there is a man standing on the edge. This is the moment I fully realized how great and grand the Grand Canyon really is, and just how small we are. I come back to this moment frequently and it is so humbling.
