Lighting

We had been at the park all day, sunny and hot. At about 6:30, a major. Thunderstorm rolled through for about an hour. I had just learned the fireworks/laser light show was still going to take place, even though most guest has left the park due to the storm. I was walking back to the lake at the World Showcaae when I turned around and saw the scene in the photo. Funny thing is, I was wearing khaki shorts and a blue Polo, so I looked like a castmember that thanks people's photos. I must have had a dozen people ask me to take their photo with this image in the background. I was kind enough to to take their photo with their camera/phone.

Canon 5D Mkiii Canon 24-70 2.8 Mounted on tripod

Inspiration

It is as simple as right place at the right time and noticing your surroundings.

Editing

This is a HDR image, you can tell by the ghosting of people in the foreground. I used Photomatrix and Lightroom.

Other than the equipment above, I have a Tamron 70-200 2.8 VC

Feedback

It's mostly being aware of your surrounding scenery. I was in a hurry to get a good spot for the fireworks and could have easily not turned around to see this scene.
