This photo was taken at home . I own 320 acres of land so there is plenty of opportunity to capture some great shots.Time
It had been very hot and the humidity had been building up all day . I could hear the thunder in the distance so got my camera ready.Lighting
It was night time.Equipment
My first digital camera was a Nikon coolpix P510. Referred to as a point and shoot camera. Great camera which was used to take this shot. I still have this camera. I very seldom use it nowadays . I now own 2 Nikon D3200 cameras. 1 is set up with the kit lens 18 - 55 mm and the other has a Tamron 18 - 270 mm.Inspiration
I have always loved the way lightening lights up the whole sky on a black night. I had it set on burst mode and it took me a lot of shots to come away with 1 decent shot. It is really worth the time to capture this moment.Editing
The only thing i changed with this shot was a little colour. I have only just starting using Adobe Lightroom . I am slowly finding my way around it.In my camera bag
