Behind The Lens

Location

this was taken in Bloody Bay, Negril Jamaica

Time

it was right after sunset, don't remember exact time but the sun was completely gone and light was reflecting those clouds.

Lighting

can't remember anything worth mentioning

Equipment

i used my old canon xs1, 15-85mm canon lens and an magenta filter for enriching reds and orange tints in the sky

Inspiration

having a leisure walk in the beach and when i saw this couple in the boat. i believe he was local fisherman going back home with his wife after a very long day.

Editing

very little, some sharpening and some color enhancement. Basic stuff.

In my camera bag

canon lenses 15-85mm, 55-250mm, prime canon pancake 40mm, few filters; nd10, UV, polarizer, extra memory card etc.

Feedback

wait for the -how I like to called- golden time. In my opinion that consist of somewhere in the range of 20-30 min after a complete sunset. lightning is just smooth and perfect and yet is not too dark which means you can get some interesting details of the target yo're after and that dreamy reddish purple color of the sky.
