Location
I am only 15 and don't have many places to properly shoot. I shoot around the house or.in the backyard where this picture is takenTime
I can't remember the exact day took this picture but I do remember it being around early afternoon around 5 o clock, my cute little pup for some.odd reason enjoys nibbling grass and I couldn't help myself from capturing the momentLighting
There was no specific was I wanted this picture to look, I just wanted to capture the true essence of what I was seeing. So I kind of set the back light lower than the light in the fore front to capture my pup more than the background.Equipment
I typically use just my camera with my standard average lens as again I'm only 15 and do not have all the equipment. As well as this pup is a rasqual and doesn't stay still it took about half an hour to get this picture without him turning away and running. My camera at the moment is the Canon 700D and I used the 18-55 Lena to take this picture.Inspiration
I shoot all my pictures with the full out come of the image in my mind. I try capturing the image in my mind. So when I saw my dog sitting and nibbling the grass my immediate reaction was to capture it, my photogenic little pup didn't mind he's just too active to sit still. But it turned out to be better than the picture I plannedEditing
Being only 15 I am not fully clued up on all the essentials of photography, I learn when I can, but its not so easy to be a scholar and learn your passion at the same time, therefore I don't shoot in raw and I don't process the imaging. I did edit this with an app called aviary which my might be the only "processing done"In my camera bag
I bought the 700D camera and lens kit which came with three lenses 55-300 i think it is, my 18-55 and the 18mm, I have my remote shutter, a small tripod, a few magazines for tips, a verbatim WiFi sharer(allows me yo take pictures from the SD card to my phone wirelessly), my UV filters, my charger and all my covers, I have a cleaning kit tooFeedback
A low angle is best to use. I was told in my first lecture "taking from above puts you in a position if authority and domincance" and that's not what you want when you take of a puppy, get into the same level as them.
