One of my bucket list of places to visit since seeing the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" in my hometown movie theater. It's an odd feeling to see this for the first time in the direction we came to it. At first it was just a glimpse, then more, and then wow. The movie doesn't do the site justice. It's more mind boggling in person -- or maybe this mind was boggled by the concept of the movie.

Hi there! Yes, it was! Close Encounters of the Third Kind is a favorite of mine. It was a cold, on and off snowy morning when we came around a curve and saw it for the first time. Quite exciting to have a check mark by a list of places to see. I pray you get to see it soon. The pandemic has pulled the plug on travel for many. I want to go back someday, maybe on a warmer day!
