While riding my trike (yes, recumbent LOL), I stopped at the boat launch to see if anything interesting was around, this merganser and his mate were swimming nearby. In no real hurry since they were around 30 yards off and diving....OH WAIT, now they're right in front of me and I still need to set up!! Whew, was able to capture this shot catching him after a dive, he quickly moved right out of range right after.
