This photo was the catalyst for my commute photo project. while sitting at a red light in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland (just a mile shy of the D.C. line) i glanced over to see this out the passenger side window of my car. After it registered in my brain as to what it was -a Metro bus with advertising- i frantically reached for my camera. I had just enough time to squeeze off a couple of shots before the light changed and we both drove away. I have always felt this was a fitting image of anyone commuting the greater Washington D.C. area , particulary at rush hour.
