Rajasthani Gypsies 7

Near the retreat where I stayed in Himachal Pradesh was a Rajasthani encampment of migrant road workers. Apparently, genetic testing has determined that gypsies originated in the Rajasthan area of India, and these people seem to be gypsies. I was immediately attracted to take photos of them. And they were very eager as well, demanding that I bring back prints, which I did. These are beautiful people, although some of the kid shots are heartbreaking. These comprise some of the best images that I have yet taken as a photographer.

The fellow in the middle was the very definition of swagger!
