Behind The Lens

Location

Nobbys Beach, Newcastle NSW Australia

Time

5 pm

Lighting

The lighting was spot on for photos. The sun was beginning to set behind us so it was bouncing subtly from the sand making for a natural software glow. Very little editing required type light.

Equipment

Canon zoom lens 24-70 mm, Canon 1100D

Inspiration

We'd had a rough few months and this was the first time they'd relaxed. They were just being so delightfully themselves for the first time in ages, I just had to capture it.

Editing

None was really needed

In my camera bag

2 spare batteries, another 1100D body, 50mm lens, 18-55mm lens, 75-300mm lens, 270exII speedlite flash.

Feedback

The window on this type of light is rather small so take as many pictures as possible, you can always delete later if you have digital.
