Behind The Lens

Location

I took this image in a corn field out in Illinois while chasing sunsets.

Time

This was a cold fall sunset, around 5:30 right before the sun set behind the horizon.

Lighting

Just wait for the right lighting.

Equipment

This was with my first DSLR a Nikon d5200, and the kit lens that came with it, a 18-55mm variable aperture lens.

Inspiration

The sun is the best lightbulb!

Editing

I edited the JPEG (before I knew how to edit RAW images) in Photoshop, I used some curves and saturation sliders.

In my camera bag

I use my Nikon d610 and a Sigma 35mm Art lens mostly for my images, I keep a 16-28 f/2.8 in my bag along with a 70-210 f/4.

Feedback

Be creative and chase some sunsets!
