While rving in southern British Columbia, we stopped at a viewpoint overlooking the Thompson River near Ashcroft. I was walking my dog, and had my camera with me as I planned to shoot a few landscapes shots. The rumble of a train drew my attention. I seated myself comfortably on the edge of the bank, my dog still at my side, and waited...for that right moment. Captured a few awesome images of this Canadian National freight train.
