This photo was taken in my home. Chelsea was curled up on the floor on top of a blanket that was cascading off of the couch. A note about the subject; Chelsea was a rescue cat that was having trouble being adopted because of only having one eye. I fell in love right away. She was the best cat ever. She died last month (June 2016)Time

I had just purchased the camera and was taking practice shots. Believe me, she got tired of it after a while and got up and walked away.Editing
The only post processing was through Lightroom. I cropped and boosted the color. That was all that was needed.In my camera bag
I pack my Nikon 5500 with two lenses. I also have a Nikon cheat sheet. Other than that, nothing.Feedback
I used subject focus. Blurring the background so the subject stood out.
