Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a small box sized light studio in my lounge.

Time

My lounge doesn't let in much light so i used LED lights to make up for it. It was a very good learning experience.

Lighting

I wanted to keep the image quite bright so i used LeD lights to keep everything nice and bright.

Equipment

This was shot on a canon 70D with a 15-55mm lens.

Inspiration

I was inspired by watching my cats kittens grow and thrive. I found the conection between the mum cat and the kittens beautiful.

Editing

With this image i did not do any post-processing.

In my camera bag

I certainly pack my canon 70d with a standard 15-55mm lens. I am in love with this camera and take a lot of my images just using that.

Feedback

I think if you are trying to capture any sort of close up animal it is very important to build a relationship with the animal as this make it more likely to stay in place. I also believe that patience is very important. Lighting the animals well is important, however keeping the lighting basic is good as you wont have time to adjust the lighting in between shots.
