Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on my first day shoot at ICON Orlando. I had been carrying that bottle top around inside my bag knowing it served a better purpose. Thankfully I got the perfect shot.

Time

This photo was taken at about 6:30 PM on a hot summer afternoon.

Lighting

The golden hour is everything.

Equipment

Ah... Just a Nikon D3200. I was a beginner, barely having the camera for three days. In fact, it was the first time I ever touched a DSLR.

Inspiration

I wanted this photo to invoke a sense of loneliness and longing for adventure that I felt at the time. A sense of nostalgia washed over me in that moment. The one moment I knew I could never get back. That at this point in time, we are truly here today and gone tomorrow.

Editing

A little lightroom editing. Nothing major. I like my photos to have a vibrancy that screams life in color.

In my camera bag

35mm lens and keen perspective.
