I was walking this gravel road in the Ethiopian highlands, and seeing many young female shepherds. This lady got the last of my cash that day, in exchange for posing for some photos.
She was very keen to give me a variety of poses and immediately picked up one of the lambs by its legs, hanging it upside-down. I said "No! No!", shaking my head, and she understood, put it down, and settled into a slightly more natural pose - this one.
It is an unbelievably cold place at night; with that said, you can understand her attire. Everything available is used to layer up and keep the cold at bay.
