This was one of a combination of passed and action shots of this Morgan mare. I was looking for a pose of her elegant head.Editing
Post processing was definitely what created the finished piece. I used Nik software primarily to convert to black and white and then between burn and dodge created the finished piece.In my camera bag
Nikon D4 is my go to. I really like prime lenses so have a 50, 90 and then 300mm in prime and a 28-200 zoom.Feedback
Play with your postprocessing. It's fun and sometimes you get something that really stands out from what was initially a relatively mundane initial picture.
