Behind The Lens

Location

This image along with many others was taken at my folks house in central Wisconsin. My Dad is an avid bird lover and feeds them morning & night with many different species frequenting the feeders throughout the day.

Time

Late morning, Dec 26th

Lighting

some sun but mostly overcast with snow flurries to soften the light.

Equipment

Image taken with Nikon D300 & Nikon VR 70-200mm- 2.8

Inspiration

I'm inspired by nature and all it has to offer for photo oppotunites.

Editing

a slight adjustment to the 'Contrast' which helped the Image pop.

In my camera bag

2 Nikon Bodies. Nikon lenses include 50mm 1.4, 10-24mm 3.5, 17-55mm 2.8 & VR 70-200mm 2.8

Feedback

Birds can be a bit frustrating to shoot. Some species are good branch sitters and seem like they pose for you while others are constantly on the move. Plan on taking many images of your feathered friends and be confident that you will capture images you & your peers will enjoy.
