Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my home. I noticed how the sun was framing her perfectly and I had to capture the moment.

Time

The photo was taken mid day as the sun shined through the glass door.

Lighting

It wasn't a planned photo. The kitty was sun bathing and the sun was shining down on her creating wonderful highlights and shadows.

Equipment

This was captured was a Canon EOS Rebel SL1. No other special equipment.

Inspiration

The sunshine was making her ears and fur glow so prettily and framing her face that I had to grab my camera and try to capture the moment.

Editing

I don't have any special editing programs for post processing of my photos. I try to capture the shot as perfectly as I can in the camera, then just enhance or crop with the editing software that came with my computer.

In my camera bag

I don't know very much about photography but I love my Canon EOS Rebel SL1 and always carry two lenses in my bag. The EFS 18-55mm and a 75-300mm.

Feedback

You don't have to try to create a moment to capture. Keep your eyes and heart open and your camera nearby so that when an opportunity presents itself you can capture it.
