This windmill sits near I70 near the town of Deer Trail Colorado. I've been out many times to photograph it. On this still night I was able to catch enough frames to create some star trails. The semis passing on the highway are a bonus.

2am, Rocky Mountain National Park, sky full of stars

From near Deer Trail Colorado. Clear skies out there.

First day of autumn 2017. Plenty of color to see in Colorado.

Milky Way pano from the morning of February 4th. Had a very short window of time to catch this sequence. You can see sunlight on the horizon.

Took this over the summer. Had a lot of difficulty combining the frames for the panorama, but it finally worked out. Fun note, this house was full of

Would love to shoot these mountains every season of the year. Not sure if the roads are navigable in the winter though...

About an hours worth of combined shots to produce these trails. The dunes were illuminated by a crescent moon.

Just another night hanging out in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Captured this with the good old sigma 35mm. Love the stars from the brights lights when you tighten up the aperature.

Waxing Gibbous Moon cast some wonderful shadows, but wasn't bright enough to completely obscure the Milky Way.
