Behind The Lens

Location

I love to travel and sometimes some of my favorite places are right around the corner. These tracks and bridge are just miles away from my house. I've seen this place for years and this day in Albany Oregon I was going through downtown and on a whim pulled the car over and took a couple shots with my phone.

Time

It was some random late fall afternoon. I honestly don't even remember what I was doing that day. Apparently I had time to kill and happy I did.

Lighting

The lighting was just a cloud filtered kind of day. Nothing special, the clouds did the work.

Equipment

The only thing I had on me at the time was my IPhone 6 so that's all I used. I keep a camera of sort in my trunk since then.

Inspiration

I was driving through downtown, turned a corner and thought that would be a pic I would like to have.

Editing

I used a photo app called PhotoToaster which I use on the majority of my phone pics.

In my camera bag

I've never taken to much interest in taking pictures till a couple years ago and I'd still consider myself in a early novice category. So all I have is a Nikon 5200, a couple cheap lenses, a little cannon camera that I can carry easily and of course my phone.

Feedback

I'm still so new at this that my technical would be useless. My only advice that I follow is I just shoot whatever makes happy.
