This photo was taken at my home in Jaipur, India, during the mehandi ceremonies for my sister's wedding.Time
This was taken on the morning of first-day-of-several-days-festivities for wedding.Lighting
Nothing in particular. Nice warm indian morning during the month of April.Equipment
I used my ever-so-reliable Nikon D3200 with my fav 50mm prime lens, handheld.Inspiration
Weddings are an amazing celebration. Indian weddings take it several steps forward, with multi-day celebrations of different traditions. Being brother of the bride, I was mostly busy with other preps for the wedding. But I had an additional responsibility of capturing some moments during initial days ceremonies since we booked official photographer ONLY for the main wedding day. I was just going for some candid clicks when my wife(in the pic) came over to show me mehandi on her hands. And I loved it so much that I decided to create a keepsake.Editing
None, SOOC image. In my camera bag
Nikon D3200, 50mm prime, Tamron 18-270mm multi-purpose lens, Rokinon 12mm lens, remote shutter, selfie stick, UV cover, several batteries and charger and cable to transfer pics out of camera to laptop/phone.Feedback
Plan to attend an indian wedding which mostly run for a few days. There are so many moments during amazing traditions which are worth capturing, and you will leave with some for-ever memories and amazing clicks.
