Location
This photo was taken in Lancaster County Central Park, Lancaster, Pa.Time
The photo was taken between the hours of 12 noon and 2 PM.Lighting
The subject was in the understory of the trees, so therefore it was completely in the shade of the forest.Equipment
My Nikon Coolpix was used in the macro mode to capture this image. An old tripod that I purchased at the thrift store was also used in the making of this image.Inspiration
This was one of the better looking specimens located in this area and it was practically telling me to snap a photo.Editing
There was a little color balance and cropping done to this image. In my camera bag
I now have a Nikon D3300 with various lenses, but I still do carry and use my Coolpix.Feedback
Go out shooting pictures with an open mind. Your main goal may be to shoot wildlife, or birds or something else. Just be open to the opportunities that are given to you on each trip. Originally I had set out to photograph birds. Did not get any good bird images on this trip, but I did bring this one home with me.
