Behind The Lens

Location

This is a cherry tree in our front yard in Virginia.

Time

It was in the afternoon around 2PM

Lighting

It was bright and sunny day, this shot was just happen to be little bit on the shade.

Equipment

Canon 70D camera with 80mm 1.8 lens

Inspiration

I wanted to try a macro shot of this lens even though it's not a macro lens.

Editing

Only Lightroom for converting raw to Jpeg. I wanted to keep it original so not much post processing was done to it.

In my camera bag

I always have my 17-50mm lens for normal walk around, a 70-200 for long range, and a external flash.

Feedback

Even though it is during the day, the wind sometime can make the flower moves around and you'll end up with a blurry/off focus picture. For the speed, I would try at least 1/125 if I am going to shoot it again next year.
