During a two day and one night trek through the jungle in Laos we stayed in a very small remote village in the middle of a huge jungle. We arrived early and had time to look around and appreciate the way they live and work every single day. It was so different to anything I have witnessed before and was truly amazing to see. There were lots of kids running around and playing with Uno cards but in a totally different way, whoever had them got chased until caught, then they switched to someone else running. This is one of the kids running away from the others. They all had the biggest smiles on their faces from something so small and simple, it was very nice to see them so happy.
