This shot was taken in the Grand Tetons (Oxbow bend). We were getting a lot of smoke from a fire in Yellowstone making it hard to get a clear shots of the Tetons, but for this shot I think it helped. The smoke filtered the sun enough for me to shoot directly at it and an aperture of F22 created the refracted light (no filter was added).
