This photo is part of a serie of self portraits that I did as the final work for my first photography course!

The most beautiful street dog is obviously my brother´s! I can´t stop taking pictures of her, just look at those eyes!

It seems impossible that we didn´t know this village in Portugal. But it's true. Visit Monsaraz if you have the chance, you won't regret it

I woke up really early for no reason. Looked out the window and saw this amazing sky. Just had to get up, grab the camera and start shooting.

This picture was taken on a trip to Alentejo on my mother´s birthday. I love to catch birds in the air!

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a beach in Portugal named Guincho. It is well known for windy conditions as you can tell!

Time

This was taken in the afternoon of a very very cold and windy day.

Lighting

Not much, it was cloudy so there were good conditions for the kind of photo I was looking for!

Equipment

I used a sony a6000 with the original lens, 18-50 f/3.5. No other equipment involved!

Inspiration

I was taking my first photography workshop and had to present my final work with a specific theme. That day I woken up with extreme wind so I thought I would take advantage of it and took a bunch of windy photos!

Editing

Not much pos-processing, just the basic retouches in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

As I am an amateur I only have in my bag my sony a6000 with the original lens. Still saving some money to buy new lens and other equipment!

Feedback

My only advice is to take advantage of any conditions you have. If there was no wind that day maybe this photo wouldn't turn out so great. It almost appears that the hair is merging with the pattern of the rocks behind!
