Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on Brighton pier

Time

it was taken just at as the sun descended from the sky around 10 minuets before it was night

Lighting

by using spot metering and alterations to the bracketing i was able to get much more vibrancy from the sky

Equipment

i used a canon 700D using my standard 18-55mm kit lens and used the hand railings to steady the shot.

Inspiration

I always take my camera everywhere i go and after seeing magical photos of swarms of wild birds and the orange sunsets of Africa in the background i wanted the imitate that type of image without leaving my own country

Editing

everything was done in camera as far as i can recall

In my camera bag

i have a Neewer flash with remote 40mm canon lens 18-55mm canon kit lens cables spare sd cards ND filter set nd2 nd4 nd8 and my canon 700D with Newers battery grip

Feedback

spot meter and watch the sun set for the right moment and keep taking photos even if it dont look right make small adjustments until you fall in love with our own shot
