Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my driveway. It wasnt a photoshoot but I quickly recognized the potential. It was just one of those times where you need to have your camera close because the momentsame are fleeting and gone before you know it. I got lucky on this one and I'm glad I did.

Time

Late afternoon

Lighting

Nope. You just have to use what you can. I tried to use the lowering sun to my advantage but with a moving target, I just did my best.

Equipment

Body: NiKon D7000 Lens: Nixon Nikkor 50mm AF-S 1:1.8G No flash.

Inspiration

I wanted to capture a perfect moment with my son, and I happened to get lucky on this one.

Editing

Unfortunately yes. I took this photo during the height of the HDR edit phase of my career. I'm not as happy with it now because the shot was perfect in its own right.

In my camera bag

My D7000, 50mm, a general purpose Nikkor 18-200mm, 3 memory cards, and 3 batteries :)

Feedback

Keep your camera dry.
